Council man came round last week and we signed the paperwork to get the bin. He said it would be delivered a couple of days later.

Of course, that hasn't happened.

We've now got a small mountain of rubbish piling up in the corner of the office including bin bags and cardboard, some of which is starting to smell.

The contract states they will "undertake with effect from the 5th day of Nov 07 to remove or secure the removal from the premises of all trade waste...".

9th today - no bin - no collection.

I'm not really surprised but I'm not too happy about it.

Called them earlier (3pm) - a woman answered, almost laughed when I asked to speak to the trade waste dept, she said she was just leaving, others had all left, no chance of anyone being in the trade waste dept on a Friday afternoon!

Any suggestions? Are they always this slow? I don't know what to do with the rubbish, not allowed to take it to the dump of course, so its just sitting here!

Hi Sam

Depends on the council...wink

Feel free to PM me, as I'm now a regional manager for a waste management co, and can sort you a decent deal out.

Should be OK to cancel the agreement with the council as they haven't fulfilled their inital obligation & you have lost faith with their service wink

HTH

Chris
