Just wondering whether any of you who have had driven the M12 and M400 could comment on the differences? Im looking to buy an M12 but I havent made the purchase yet partly because Im wondering whether I should be looking at M400s. I'll be using the car on the road and the track.

Is there really that much difference in performance/handling? Do M400's have a tendancy to go wrong more frequently? Is the cabin noise noticeably more intrusive? And any other words of wisdom any of you may have?

Thanks

Standard v's standard M400 will out drag a 3R easily.
The 400 has stiffer suspension though I find it more compliant than my old Porka Turbo!!
I had the zorst, pump mod and re-map , geometry set up at Plans and then went the "whole Hog" and had all the uprights machined and shimmed for camber adjustment (camber is not adjustable as standard).
Well worth the money IMO.

Other work carried out in order of priority....
Tunnel cooling mod (stops cabin heating up when windows are open)involves re-routing a fresh air feed to heater from a front air intake in clam to a spigot attached to the central chassis tunnel cover(under heater box).
HID light conversion. Standard lights are piss poor when you need them at night!
Big intercooler with a couple of fans to reduce heat soak issues.
BOV to reduce turbo stall at high rev gear change.
Hard pipe kit.
Wheels Dymag carbon.(not a given, but nice if you have the budget).
Future, possibly uprate to Nitron / Ohlin dampers.
Hope this helps.
One thing is for sure if you buy a Noble you WILL mod it, so find one that's ready sorted for a few quid more and it will save you THOUSANDS later on.

Or get one as standard as possible and get the full enjoyment/value out of an upgrade...ie the "before and after" experience.
