Chaps,

A quickie.

I have owned a domain name for a while, which I use for business eMail. I set it up about 5 years ago through easily.co.uk, and it was very easy. Bought the domain, and then used their on-line control panel thing to set it so that all eMail sent to <anything>@thedomain.co.uk gets forwarded to my googlemail address.

It worked well, continues to work well, and I am happy.

I have done exactly the same for various family members and friends, all of which work well as well.

A while ago, I bought another domain for my own use, and set it up in the same way. BUT if I send any eMail to it, it doesn't get forwarded to my googlemail address. I have tried setting it so it forwards directly to the googlemail address, or to an address from the first domain I mentioned, and it makes no difference.

I have compared the settings (all through easily) for the old domain and the new one, and they appear identical.

And I can't understand why it is not working as it should!

(Unfortunately, it seems that I can't upload any screenshots of the easily control panel to a picture site, so can't post on here, but if it's helpful I could eMail them to someone who could host them.)

Does anyone have any ideas, or suggestions?

Oli.

So long as the DNS servers for the domain are configured correctly, then it sounds like an issue with easily.

Either way a quick email to their support should have them fixing it for you.
