I think my key fob battery is on the way out. Range is down and it doesn't alway work on first press of the button as it it once did
Can anyone tell me if its just open up the case and stick a new battery in or does it have to be re programmed?

Though I'd better ask before I cock it up
Thanks in advance

Like you say I thought it would be the same as other car and gate bleepers but it being a Noble you never know.

I'll change it tomorrow and let you all know when it stops working

Have you got two ? I'm sure it will be fine, as it would be a piss-poor alarm if you had to re-program it when the battery went flat,

Changed mine too, but had real trouble finding a replacement. Don't know whether they have been updated on later cars though. Mines a 2002. Typed in the battery number on ebay and got some within a few days.

Its not very often I can add anything helpful here as you all seem to have been through it before, but.........................

I had exactly the same problem you are describing. Changed the batteries, made no difference. So I took the cover off the fob and the actual switch beneath the rubber thumb pad had worked loose. In the end it didn't work at all. I couldn't even get in the car!
When I'd finished cursing and panicking I googled Autowatch(its on the back of the fob) who are actually a companny called Knightwatch. After speaking to them they asked me to send them the fob, recorded delivery and they would fix the button. Got it back literally 2 days later, all repaired, with new batteries, ALL FOC!!! Unbelievable, brilliant service.

Hope that helps
