iphone v2.0 update - help

Hi all,

I know there are a few iPhone experts on PH, can anyone help?

So I used the Ziphone application to unlock my 1st generation iphone - its been working perfectly on v.1.12, however i'd like to use the new applications associated with software version 2.0.

The question is "if i download and install version 2.0 onto my unlocked iphone, will it brick it? has anyone done this yet?"

Many thanks in advance... slightly nervous iphone user... currently downloading the software from itunes!

Here's the guide I used to do mine - on a Mac, though; if you want to do it on a PC you'll have to look a bit longer because it wasn't even possible a couple of weeks ago.
