Got my manifold welded and back on, car ran fine for a day, last night the car wouldn't hold boost and tonight i noticed a blowing noise from the front of the engine, got it up on ramps and discovered the gasket between the turbo and downpipe has blown into two or three bits, also one of the studs has snapped off, no idea how or why but ah well

Where will stock these gaskets? wow what a week iv had

thanks

Graham

No need for paste etc. And personally, i will never use the "ebay special" 99p shim type gaskets.

Nissan produced the original T25/28 factory compression gaskets. Search function should give you the part numbers. If not, PM me.

Frankly I wouldn't bother with replacing the gasket between turbo and downpipe. They act as a 'lubricant' and are probably the reason why this connection keeps working loose, especially after a session or 2 on track. Just mate the 2 flat surfaces and hold together with K nuts -end of problem.
