My 2005 RR Vogue TD6 Auto biography will not Start !!!!
Discussion
Hi can anyone help, I have a Range Rover Vogue TD6 Auto Biography, and this cold weather is killing me, I brought a quick start battery charger and so far after 5 mins of having this on it starts perfect, and throughout the day fine.
But as soon as it comes to the morning flat as pancake?
can anyone help or is this a common fault with these vehicles?
Help?

I'm surprised actually, after the battery only being 9 months old. Then again, batteries hate two things, the cold and being really discharged.
I've had two batteries do exactly what you describe and both were buggered.
It might be worth going to a battery supplier in the RR and get them to test the battery. They'll tell you if its knackered or not, and most of them will change the battery on the spot for no charge, and have a way of doing it without you losing your radio settings etc (2nd battery and small jump leads)

Its so cold at the moment thats its perfectly logical for the battery to have developed a fault which would cause the problems your having.
Also another thing to check is that there isnt a drain on the battery i.e a light inside the boot for example isnt sticking on when the back lid is shut, etc

We had a similar thing to the boot light in the previous post, went away for two weeks, came back and our Vogue wouldn't start. Took the chap from LR support a good 20 mins to get it going. He reckoned it was because one of the headlight wipers hadn't reset and left the circuit open. Needless to say the battery had to be replaced.
Mine gave up the ghost after sitting still for 8hrs on the M40 just before Christmas... was most embarassing when they eventually pulled everyone off the motorway backwards to the previous junction, and I was left sat in the middle lane going nowhere.
Not to mention being the freakiest experience - alone on a stretch of closed motorway, no lights, no cars, nothing..... spooooooky!
