Got a couple of friends coming over at the weekend and can't think of anything interesting to do for a main course. I'm planning to do seared tuna to start withlick

Anyone got any ideas? Fish pie/cakes seems too mundane.

smoked salmon ravioli.

Then slap them and ask them WTF fish did to deserve being singled out - they feel pain too. Try crying at this point, maybe giving their serving a suitably fish-friendly name like "finny" to really make them feel bad.

Don't have to, nowt wrong with using fresh lasgna sheets.

ETA - serve it with some pan fried mushrooms of choice and a pesto rather than a traditional tomato sauce.

Or buy a load of tiger prawns and make a Thai curry with cocunut milk, lemon grass, ginger, garlic and red chillies. A little turmeric for colour if you like.

Ahah!

Make Surf and Turf.

Your mate can eat the prawns/lobster tail and his missus will love you forever! hehe

steamed whole fish with ginger and garlic, then drizzle with very very hot chilli oil to crisp the skin just before serving.

only takes 10 mins to make the pasta!!

the same amount of time as cooking the sheets of pasta and separating them

I suggest a ceviche of cod. Apprently the lemon juice on the raw cod brings out all the parasitic worms and they will dance for your guests! Ideal for picky eaters.
