Recovering deleted texts from an iPhone

I have just cleared a conversations off my iphone that i need the messages from

Anyone know how to get these back???

Not easily, do sync your phone regularly?

Have you synced your phone since you deleted the contacts?

If you have time machine running you should be able to go back to just before you deleted your texts and do a restore of the phone.

My friends landlord does this for a living, recovering deleted messages and deleted info from computers.

No idea how it is done, but think must be someone out in the "internet" who will of shown people how to do it.

Well in theory can't you recover a back up through iTunes, but obviously this will go from your last backup so if you've connected it up since you deleted them I'd imagine they aren't there.

iphone uses a sqlite database to store the messages. It may just be marked as deleted in the file, so download the sms.db file from the iPhone, open it using SqLite ....

It may work but I havent tried it!

So, theorectically if I delete messages from my iphone, you could still find them!!!
