All, I need a bit of your help.

the mother in law's desktop pc has given up the ghost and I've been asked to look for a new one for her. uses are mainly email, web, and a bit of work so nothing too onerous.

I was thinking of popping down to pc world and picking up something for around 350 but has anyone got any better ideas.

any help appreciated.

thanks

I used to buy loads of HP desktops etc but they have been giving me some grief lately. So much so that I've stopped supplying them to customers.

Ok everyone.

Many thanks for your replies. I’ve found the following 2 computers which seem good value for money. Has anyone got opinions on either of these companies? And out of the two, which would you go for?

Cube 247

think my friend had a cube247, used premium parts on the build too. Great value and failed 5 years on with a motherboard fault so not their fault at all.

EuroPC do good refurbed dell stuff at stupidly cheap prices. Saved £600 on an XPS 1730 laptop.
