Anyone else watching this? It happened to be on in the background whilst I was on the computer, but the sheer volume of bovine excretement being spewed by the mothers of the poor girls in question is simply staggering and grabbed my attention.

They are literally whoring their daughters out to the fashion industry at 9 years old, plastering them in makeup and fake tan and teaching them to walk like complete sluts, teaching them to act ten years older than they are. It's despicable, they all believe that looking 'normal' and 'average' is simply not acceptable and they are.

Forcing the fashion industry, IMO a fking sham at the best of times, on girls of this age is disgusting. I am not normally a complainer, but this programme riles me so much I am almost willing to put in a complaint to the BBC.

I really, really can't stand this concept. HOw did the program makers not brutally disfigure these hollow tts that call themselves mothers? Is this not a form of child abuse, telling the kids they're failiures unless they dance like marginally trained chimps?

Anyway, that horror that runs the "beauty" contest looks more manly than the bloke who runs my local indian resteraunt, except she's fatter. Has she never heard about people in glass houses?

I didn't see this, was this the one about Sasha, the girl that just held a beauty pageant for her 13th birthday? If so, she goes to my daughter's school, and apparently there are not that many in the school that do think she is pretty.

Don't think so, this was a Mini Miss UK or something, although there was a girl called Sasha on there. I think she was only 7 though, and her mother was a right trollop.

Oh right, I see, I know that 'our' Sasha was on the local BBC news last night, all about the pageant that she had for her 13th, showing some of the girls. Funnilly enough, her mum is a bit of a dog too!

Caught this last night. The South African mum and the one from Scotland (Mory?) made me quite angry, that they were clearly projecting their issues onto their daughters and spending a very unhealthy time and money on prepping them for a disastrous appearance.

The girl from Staines (Sacha) seemed quite sweet, and her mum was such a hopeless case, I felt quite sorry for them. The mum seemed really desperate for cash and could see her daughter as a way of bringing in money (not entirely a bad thing I feel) for ther family as well as building her daughter's self esteem.

The organiser and her sidekick "Miss East Angular" were simply hilarious!
