Which budget laptop?
Discussion
Looking to spend around £250.
Main usage going to be surfing the net, downloading *stuff* and thats about it to be honest - maybe the occasional use of the Office suite, but nothing hardcore.
I dont want a netbook as the screens are too small and they are generally too fiddly - but im not put off by ex demo or damaged boxes if it gets me a betetr deal...
Any recommendations? I'm technoincompetent.
TIA

Ok so i've found another £100 down the back of the sofa and am torn between these two. Thoughts?

Intel have released a new Pentium, no relation to the old one. Its quite good by all accounts, for a cheap PC anyway.a standard Pentium, in this day and age, running Vista stay clear
