Itunes/Ipod and fresh install

I'm just about to clear my laptop and re-install windows, in terms of iunes and my ipod, can i just re-install itunes and copy my music/videos to the new install and carry on as before or do i have to mess about authorising the itunes lib etc?

Shouldn't be a problem - backup the Library file in iTunes, and any songs you downloaded from the iTunes Store.
Add those back when you've reinstalled iTunes, and use Anapod or the like to pull off the songs from the iPod, and add those back into the Music folder, and that should be you on next the launch.
