I've often have to carry Mossy home when he decides he's had enough.
In the photo below: he wallowed in that puddle for 20 minutes, I couldn't get him to move. Ended up carrying him, my clothes and car were destroyed. Wouldn't change a thing about him though, they have such funny personalities.
Bosley after wallowing in the mud by a cow trough. He was really pleased with himself, then after this shot was taken we soaked him with the hosepipe. I've often have to carry Mossy home when he decides he's had enough.

Ours has similar modes, but Primary mode is usually inverted.
