It's on the plate under the bonnet on the drivers side and described as 'body code' May also be in your handbook if you have that.
If it's the original colour and you're still struggling try calling S&D in Blackpool as they have access to the bcar build records.

Might be worth trying Marks Motor Factors, opposite the fire station at Hucknall, have used them in the past when I needed an obscure colour matching, hope the accident was'nt to bad?

Not too bad,my dog jumped on me while i was machine polishing the car, went through the paint!!!! Had me squashed between the fence and the car. One in a million chance of it happening.

The code I can find for it is TVR091 but it is listed as a TVR colour only. I might be able to give you a formulation for it, for that I would need the last 4 digits of your chassis no. Please do not build your hopes up though as it will have been painted in solvent paint and may not be available now.

I seem to remember Honda doing a limited run of Civics in that colour think they had an engine deal with jordan at the time
in F1 , suppose a Honda dealer would have the correct code or paint in stock , good luck
Tom .

I have spent many hours trying to find your colour and I am sorry but can not find out anything at all. I have been through the paint shop lists and can find the chassis no. either side of yours, no trace at all of your car. I wonder if it was the press car and this is why it is not on the lists, another thing that makes me think this, is your car for such an early one has the later front end shape. But this is only speculation. Will keep trying.

Thanks for trying mate, i dont think im gona have much luck getting a code. Not really sure what my options are. I believe it had the later front end and T350 light conversion done at fiberon, iv contacted them and they got hold of the guy that sprayed it but i dont think they kept any records. Its great having a one of a kind but its a pain in the ass also. Again, thanks for trying. PS i owe you a beer for all your efforts so if you see me at a show ect...tap me on the shoulder.

PMPL...it really is that colour. Thought about a respray but i love the colour it already is. I think im gona take a bit off the car and leave it with a paint manufacturer or some company of that ilk and they can try to make something up to match. Not sure what comes of the car easily tho!!! PS the damage is only really a thinning of the paint but I KNOW its there if you know what i mean.

There are a couple of auto paint suppliers in the nottingham area, think il give them a try. The main problem is which bit of the car to leave?

Peter Wheelers dog, Ned, allegedly bit a chunk out of the Chim clay model and 'designed' the indicator recesses.

Hence Clarksons one time comment that Porsche design department has less talent than PWs dog.
