A 6ft-long boa constrictor is on the loose in a village in Falkirk after escaping from its tank.
The snake disappeared from its owner's house in Ross Crescent in Camelon more than a week ago, according to police.
Central Scotland Police officers are visiting neighbours in the area to warn them about the escaped reptile and to reassure them that it is not dangerous.
The snake, which is four years old, has been reared in captivity since birth and is not venomous and does not eat live food.

That's only because it kills it's food first. However, it's not going to kill an adult - but I certainly wouldn't be letting young children out to play unsupervised.
