Anyone else bought one of these? Just bought one today for the other half and it is fantastic! If I didn't already have the iPhone, I'd change for one instantly!

Ive been toying with getting an HTC Desire, but I really dont need all the Desire does, and want to retain a decent camera, so went into a shop today and have convinced myself I need an Xperia10. Didnt look at the Mini. Any real difference (other than size)?

Not sure. It still runs android, and certainly does all the basics I came to expect when I had my tmobile pulse. It's just so tiny and that is cool!

I've ordered one. My first foray into smartphones. Ticks all the boxes for me and looking forward to it.

It is a SERIOUSLY nice phone! I promise you won't be disappointed! I would be picking one of these up if I wasn't already in a contract with an iPhone.

Can you help clear something up for me, i have seen a few pictures of the X10 mini and in some pics it has a slide out keyboard but it doesnt in others. Can you confirm whether or not your wifes one has come with the slide out keyboard or have they decided not to go with it in the end?

There is two phones.

X10 Mini has no slide out qwerty.
X10 Mini Pro has the slide out keyboard and around £30 more expensive

Ended up ordering the 'full fat' version from Vodaphone.

After almost 20 years as an Orange customer, having gone out of contract they initially wanted to charge me £299 for the phone, when I pointed out they were quoting £85 on their website for a 'normal' customer they agreed to to reduce it to £85. Even Orange's retention team refused to give me the phone free despite me telling them I could get it free from Vodaphone.

So wavey Orange

Full fat version eh! Nice phone, but too big for my other half! I'm using an iPhone and I must admit, I'm completely jealous!

My fat fingers dont help (and Ive reverted to the PC) but not too bad, especially after I found the navigate left and right keys rather than try to stab the middle of a word I wanted to edit to get at 1 letter!

So does it display a qwerty keyboard?

I take it you mean the full fat, not the mini?

If you mean the mini, it's standard text interface, not qwerty.

No I mean't the mini. I believe it has just gone on the 3 network so was thinking about one. I know they are getting the mini pro, but not until July.

Ah, well the mini doesn't have qwerty, but I still found it OK to text on. It's a seriously stunning phone, and as I said, I'm dead jealous! Anything you want to know, feel free to ask. If you buy from the Carphone Warehouse, they give you 3 backs, which is useful if you're prone to scratching backs.

Well I took the plunge this morning and got one from 3 in Chippenham.

So far it looks really good and the only downside is that 3 haven't got the free Windown Live Messenger App written for it just yet.

It's Android, so there are plenty of apps already out there smile
