I'm currently looking to buy some one piece leathers but I'm struggling to find any that fit.

I have the same problems with work suits and getting well fitting jeans - I suppose I must be an odd shape.

I'm 6'5 and about 100kg, but pretty slim. I'm got a 46 inch chest and a 32 inch waist but have pretty big thighs meaning I usually have to buy 36 inch waist jeans and use a belt to keep them up!

So, I was hoping that someone could suggest a brand of leathers that would be more suited to my size - i.e generous at the thigh and in length but relatively tight fitting on the waist.

Is anyone else as freaky a shape as me, and if so, what size leathers do you wear?

I'm going to attempt to go to a larger bike shop today to attempt to try some more brands. My alternative of course is to buy a suit that's made to measure.

A friend suggested I buy a suit that fits me on the chest/thigh (I presume around UK48/50 EUR 58/60) and have it altered/reduced where it's baggy.

Any suggestions?

Pilot Leathers maybe? They make custom suits.

Sounds like it's going to be the custom route. I take it that zip up 2 peice leathers are out of the question? I'm 6'4" and about 117kg by getting a two peice I could try different jeans and jacket combos which still zip together.

6'5" and 15 odd stone, you must be a rake?! biggrin

I'm not a rake, just lean - about 9% body fat at last count smile

I've just tried on my mates leathers (he's 6ft, 21 stone and has a 52 inch chest) and they're pretty snug on my shoulders/top of my chest. All that time in the gym is obviously paying off (or costing me a fortune in clothing, whichever way you look at it)!

Have you considered buying a set then having them adjusted, or just the custom route?

Do you struggle to stand still in a wind? My left leg weighs more than that and I'm 5 foot 10.

If your still going to be putting on muscle then be careful buying anything too expensive. My leathers - new last year - seem to know where my extra stone has gone! Same as you - big thighs and big chest (at least, compared to the rest of me) and the bloody things had better stretch to accommodate, cos I cant afford no more.
