Chaps,

Got a 3g iPhone and a non 3g iPad and want to tether an internet connection from my phone to the iPad via MyWi.

A mate of mine has a jailbroken iPhone so we tried it out last night and it worked perfectly, great!

Now my questions -

It said about a 10 day free trial when he downloaded it, how much does it cost thereafter?

I have no clue about Jailbreaking but want to do it, I am on the latest iPhone version, 3.1.3.

Any helpful people want to run me through it?

It is good isn't it? However, it does eat into your battery life somewhat!

If you add sinfulphone to your cydia repository you can get MyWi for free.

Oh, and to jailbreak your phone just download Spirit. Connect your phone, press a button - Takes all of about 10secs.

Would I need Sinfulphone before getting MyFi?

Nope - it's not an app.
Once you have Cydia on your phone, you simply add it to your sources - this is so you can search and download through that way. http://sinfuliphonerepo.com/
