....and so far it's bloody impressive... Loads of grunt - any speed, any gear....
Better be careful on the way home, new tyres and it's just started raining here....

Only thing I've noticed is that it gets incredibly hot by the side panels - somewhat cooking your legs. Anyone got one and is it normal....?

Thanks

OK - pics soon (this w/e hopefully)

Re the George Foreman grills - apt name - my legs are feeling distinctly chargrilled. Should be even more so after battling through the Ascot traffic tonight....!!

And no, I'm not rich, and don't live in Ascot....

I've got a ZZR 1400 and never noticed the leg cooking through my leathers. Temp wise it runs at 3-5 bars normally, but I recently rode it down to Marbella (Costa Del Sol) where its a tad warmer than England so I decided to dispense with the leathers as I was only pottering around. OMFG it nearly burnt my legs off, so yes Its normal. I hear they are doing a good deal on asbestos leg bandages in Halfords.

That is one hell of a beasty bike.

I hope you enjoy many miles of mind warping acceleration!

What's it like in the twisty bits?

Thanks....

Regards handling through the bends - oddly I seem to find myself approaching them all much faster than before.......!!! :-)

The brakes are good....!!
