Just after some advice, looking for front and rear paddock stands for my new Blade, Honda only do a rear but at least i know it would fit correctly

Just want to make sure i buy the right one's as never used them before and it concerns me how they hold the bike !

ABBA stand, best I have never used and once you have it you can use it for all future bikes. all you need is adaptors that cost a few £ and can use for all bikes.

I use a headstock stand for the front/ Cost me about £55 but again all you need is to change the adaptors and it should fit most bikes

Abba stand but remember you will need the front lift to lift the front end off the ground. A slightly cheaper option is the Oxford front and rear stands which is what I have and I like 'em. I have heard that Harris stands are good also.

Another vote for ABBA here - British, well made, extremely stable, and easy to use by one person. I know a lot of folk have no trouble with normal paddock stands, but last time I used one the bike ended up on the floor. frown I got an ABBA and it's one less thing to worry about!
If you already have a car jack, you can use that instead of the front lift, putting the jack under the sump.

I have a pair of Harris stands - prongs for the front and hooks and reels on the rear.

Used them on 5 bikes so far and they have been great with each!

Heine Gerrike also sell a stand similar to the Abba but which includes a ratchet strap you attach to the rear of the bike and use to get the front off the ground. Abba should be pretty close to the point of balllance though, I found it only took a few pounds of weight on the rear of the bike to lift the front, and with the front wheel off it was completely stable.

The Gericke ones are bought in to order, they don't have specs, or details either..so you have to order blind and pay for it up front.....like just about everything in Gericke.

They are also more expensive than buying them direct from the bloke in Germany who makes them...where you can buy them blind....etc etc.

Are they red with an odd front fitting where one side is height adjustable? if so I've got the same & they dont fit my 14, the rear one is too narrow for my swingarm! front one used to try & fold by bending when under my RF as well.

I honestly cant remember if they were busters ones i had, but the price is familar.
