How's everyone getting on with their iPad?
Discussion
Are people regretting the decision to splurge big bucks on it? Or is it still forming a major part of your life?
For me, it sits on the coffee table and it's fantastic when I want to just pick it up and do some surfing or manage some emails/check the news.
Bit of Facebook, maybe some iPlayer.
Which apps have you gone for and which ones do you think are the best/definitely worth it?

Still loving it.
So much so, the wife sold her nearly new HP Consumer laptop because it just didnt get used any more. Yeah, I know its not got a keyboard and it doesnt play flash, but small limitations for a device that is instantly on, never seems to need a charge and is so easy to use. I have a few games and the kids love it too - iPlayer being a fav for my 6 year old daughter at the moment.
My 9 year old son loves those Field Defence games you get as Flash games on various websites. But has switched away from the computer to the iPad for the ease of use and better graphics. Says it all for me at least.
Worth the money? Yeah, its still expensive, but an integral part of what we do
Oh, and Sky+ works fine (as an iPhone app) and the new version is actually quite easy to use. Simpler to use the iPad to browse the TV now - dont even need to be in the same room!

I bought mine for developing apps on, but I've been using it for general surfing because it's quicker, quieter and cooler (temperature-wise) than my laptop. Typing's a bit of a pain, because you need to be fairly accurate on the screen, but I did buy the keyboard dock as well.
Just wished I'd used it to type this, rather than having to edit pretty much every other word

What's the deal with ios4 software?
Due soon?
Have we all jailbroken it?
Did anyone go for the 3G?
I've not met anyone with an iPad who doesn't have an iPhone, do we all have iPhones? If so, any you've made use of tethering, has it changed things for you?
Where do you use it? Mine has never gone out of the house - well apart from holiday/trips away - I don't use it on the train for example.
Does anyone use theirs for gaming? Embarrassed to admit that I've got a number of games on mine and I tend to sit there and play them just because i can.

I borrow my office iPad every couple of weeks to have a fiddle with. I've found myself reading books on the train, surfing the web in the lounge without the genital-scorch of my MBP or eye-strain of my iPhone and generally cooing at the screen. As a more sociable way of browsing the web (it's easy to spin it round and show someone near me something cool) it's ace. Most surprisingly when I chucked it in front of my 50-odd year old mother with no explanation she loved it! She said she could see herself reading books on it (the illustrated Winnie the Pooh was a great free inclusion!)
I've not played any really good games as I'm loathe to spend real money on the office iPad, but the demos I've tried are great. Love the responsiveness and screen real estate over my old 3G iPhone.
I really want one, but can't justify the money…
