Where is cheaper?

Got a few more days in Thailand before heading off to Singapore. Which of the 2 would be cheaper to buy a semi decent spec laptop?

For peace of mind i would recommend Singapore - maybe not cheaper, but much better regulated.

Do your maths and check the exchange rates, I was in Singapore a few months back and the prices were nearly the same as the UK, not worth all the agro of carrying it back. Of course If you need it whilst you're out there then go for it.
