Contracting Netherlands tax advice
Discussion
Assuming that you're deemed special enough to be granteed the 30% rule, which is a discount on tax if your employer can't find someone suitable locally, then you'll end up with a retention rate of about 65%. Out of that you'll also have to spend 50 a month on health insurance and the payroll company may also want a bite of the cherry too.
You must use a Dutch payroll company, I can find some details if you aren't being recommended one by the agent or client.
Generally life here is ok, peaceful but boring, but I'm stuck a long way from the lively bits.

I've been offered a contract in Holland (intial 3 months but extensions are fairly secure) and am looking to get an idea of rough take home after taxes/expenses etc.
Any experience or links to tax advisors would be appreciated.
