Replacement Discs
Discussion
My 14 failed the MOT on warped discs & on close inspection I've found 2mm of runout so I can't really argue.
Anyway, these look almost too cheap. Anyone used them with success? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&am...
next step up is about £160 a side for EBC.

They seem too cheap to me, I don't think you can go far wrong with OE discs.
Buy cheap buy twice, maybe
I've not heard anything bad about them, but I've never heard anything good about a pair of discs for under £160 either.
Could you not feel 2mm of runout? one of my discs on the trx had 2mm of runout and felt terrible, it would make the forks oscillate when braking.

I've not used them myself but have heard good reports about All Bike Engineering:

I know someone who sent his old warped discs to them and they skimmed and fitted new bobbins for him and saved lots of £££.

Dave East will straighten your oe disks up, but depends how worn they are, if it is worth it or not.
If your going new, have a look at these

Check the reviews for them, then judge for yourself.

Surprised me too, but no. I tried a few things once I knew of the problem to see if I could feel it. Turns out if i hold the clutch in, brake with just the front slightly more gentley than normal there is a faint feeling of grabbyness between 40 & 30mph. Nothing else.Give them a call in the morning to make sure they have yours ready to go...

They very helpful people and they only sell through ebay so it's not like you're buying knock off seconds or anything.

I may be wrong, but the problem I see with those Zone disks is that they aren't Stainless Steel - they're coated Mild Steel.
Won't they go rusty once the coating starts flaking off?
For another £10-15, I can get Stainless Steel disks for my bike.
