I have just sat my last Cima exams. I hope to pass... will find out in 2 weeks from now.

On passing I was wondering what to do next in terms of studies? Any ideas? I am currently in full time employment. I really want to develop my career.

I'd recommend building up solid work experience in the industry that interests you the most (ideally in a 'blue-chip' company), instead of opting for more qualifications at this stage.

Employers will often sponsor you for additional exams anyway - perhaps Tax or Treasury?

Hard to advise without knowing more about your age/ career to date. smile

I just turned thirty. I have 2 years working at Liberty International (blue chip) as an assistant management accounting - property, 2 years at Schroders PLC (bluechip) as an assistant fund accountant (property) and now working for an AIM listed european asset manager as a group accountant. Been here for a year and the company will be closing down soon.

...in that case, I'd recommend concentrating on finding your next role before deciding on what extra qualifications to get. Don't discount good contract roles, as these may lead to permanent opportunities once you prove yourself (and headcount issues permitting). Good luck!! smile
