I have a simple need that I don't think I can easily accomplish in PowerPoint, so I thought I'd open it up to the floor smile This is an example, to remove any complexity.

Let's say I have a deck of 100 charts in PowerPoint, varying chart styles etc. Each chart has two data series on it. For example 'Males' & 'Females'. ALL I want to do is simply change the names of the data series on every chart to 'Men' & 'Women' (without having to edit the datasheet on all 100 charts!)

I'm running Office 2010, and was hoping this was something it now included, but it appears not. The 'find and replace' does not touch the datasheets where these values are stored. I'm hoping there's a simple piece of VB code or something that someone may now of that will dig a little deeper.

TIA

Are the datasheet headings all in the same place? An utterly crap cheat, but you could overlay a filled textbox where the titles are and copy that to every sheet if they are smile

Unforunately they're not Tony, all over the place as I'm using many different chart types.
