Cheapish - portable laptop - old Thinkpad?
Discussion
I need a laptop I can code on and carry about to meetings. Not wanting to spend huge amounts of cash so looking at second hand stuff - Core2 era
I'm not impressed by current budget laptops based on a quick walk around PC World.
I was thinking of something like the IBM/Lenovo T61, then bolting in some memory and new battery. Maybe a SSD if funds allow. Seems to be a good solution for £350ish!
Any alternative laptops I should look at?
- good trackpad/keyboard
- durable
- 14" screen or bigger
- Core2Duo
- not too heavy
