One time remote access to Laptop?

I want someone to connect to my Laptop so control something for me - I use Logmein, but have all my machines hooked up and don't want to give them the full permanent access.

Is there a one time easy access solution? Laptop runs Vista Professional, and the other person will be XP I assume. I've never played with the Windows RDP - is this the answer?
