Could someone recommend some software that allows you to create a video in a video please?

I've got some footage of my car from a Car Limits day from 2 different camera angles and would like to get them on the same video.

TIA smile

I use Studio 12, Plus or Ultimate, forget which (it's on a separate desktop). Excellent interface. It's about 3 years old now but still very good. Ebay does if for <£20.

I also have Serif video editing software which came in at 2/3 rds the price, but with fewer features, but does video in video. Can be a bit clunky and takes a little time to get used to. That said, great for the price.

I prefer Studio. I've used it since issue 7 and normally upgrade as soon as the one that replaced mine is replaced. A neighbour has Studio 14 and it seems very good but it came in at £80. Not worth the extra.

The only reason I got the Serif one is that I use the DTP and web publishing software, both of which I rate, and got it at a good price. But they must try harder with video editing.

Another fan of Studio here - used v11 for a while but upgraded to v14 as only that has support for AVCHD files that my camcorder prefers to output. Is quite a resource hungry bit of software though, so needs a meaty PC to run at its best. Is a very powerful tool though and can create some reasonably professional looking results just by playing around with it.
Look out for special offers on the Pinnacle Software website, as every now and then they knock 25% or so off the full price, bringing it down a more reasonable price.

I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 at work but this might be a bit OTT for your needs!. Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 10 is an excellent choice (£60) and will easily do picture in picture or cut your footage together.

Adobe Premiere or Sony Vegas if you're on Windows.

Both of those have demos available, Premiere didn't work very well on my system so I got Vegas, I'd try both and decide yourself. The higher end systems are more flexible but harder to use as opposed to the 'home' user systems which step you through. Which is good for you depends on what you want to achieve.
