We have some customers onsite who we don't trust as far as we can throw, but have a need to transfer data to/from in quantities where CD/DVD could be problematic.

One option is to have some sort of cheap NAS in front of a firewall so we (as in our staff) are only ever punching out to the NAS through the firewall, the firewall would block all access from the mini-LAN that the customers would be using.

The StoreCenter looks a cheap option, we don't need anything with bells and whistles - just wondered if anyone's any experience of them?

I bought a DLink DNS-323 the other week. Very nice little thing. Piece of piss to set up. Now running 2x1.5Tb in a RAID 1 array.

They're supposed to have compatibility issues with certain hard drives though, so be careful.
