I am pleased to report that Christmas day is at mine this year. I have plenty of volunteers to cook so I thought I would leave them in the kitchen with the traditional stuff and I would disappear into the garden and bbq something.

I have a Weber (a smaller one) but have not roasted on it yet so not willing to risk the turkey on it! Any ideas what to bung on? What's good to learn to roast with? Or should I be doing something like stuffing and sausage kebabs?

I think I would have an experiment first otherwise you could end up with just veg for lunch

I would do lamb kebabs (on skewers).

So I'm thinking:

Ribs or crispy duck,
Stuffing/sausage/bacon kebabs,
Asparagus
Carrots...

escargot

Plenty of expertise on here to help you with smoked pulled pork shoulder. See the BBQ thread sticky for examples.

Big tiger prawns as a starter.
