The chassis had a couple of issues and was mid repair when I was approached by someone from the Scimiter club looking for a new challenge, he asured me he would finish it so I told him he could have it for free provided he finished it and sent me some photos, he insisted in giving me some money so I took £100 and off it went.

I was totally P!$$ed off when I later seen it on Ebay for sale and nothing done to it.

Does anyone know what happened to it?

quite a good looking car considering the age.
It's a nice shape - has a hint of Alfa Romeo Junior about it (at the rear 1/4).

I'd duck over to the Gilbern forum on the Owners Club website and keep pinging them. There are a few regulars but some (like me) only scan it once in a while.

Given the recent articles in some of the mags prices are going up so more are getting repaired.

It may have gone into that large collection one individual has made last year mentioned in a previous thread - I'd be very surprised if it's dead and gone ....

Just did a vehicle enquiry on DVLA site and it's show as unlicensed still.....so not on the road.

Gilbern forum has crashed just now, so will enquire next time MkIII historian is online beer
