No, senile and a st driver.

Many years I encountered similar on the A34. Luckily I, and all the other drivers facing the right direction, managed to avoid him until the Police caught him.

In his defence, the emboldened part of the article is poorly-worded and may be read both ways.

I've experienced that twice on the A38 DC heading in to Bridgwater, same road both times. They were in my offside lane, and luckilly I wasn't overtaking anything. I'm always wary of it now, even crossing a DC I always check both drirections.

Does anyone know where this happened. The article states a dual carriageway, but the road number quoted is a single carriageway where you cannot get any speed up due to the amount of cars parked on the road.

I guess it was outside Asda or the road passing the Mcdonalds, generally people drive like tts on both.

Sticks.

Part of it is dual isn't it? A2 roundabout to Bluewater?

Had this happen to me years ago. Woke up in hospital, told I'd had a head on, assumed I'd been overtaking. Nope, other driver and husband forgot which side to drive on, apprently. Left hosp 3+1/2 months later. Guess I was lucky compared o this chap.

Quite a few of the roads are duelled around Greenhithe, just not the road number quoted; which is the High Street through the village. Hence I'm a little confused, and curious, as to where this happened.

The 255 continues up St Clement's Way towards the A2 roundabout, and it's dual for part of that so I'd guess there.

It was kent, near the continent. Maybe he was french (or more likely polish) and overnighted in one of kents hotels, and forgot what side of the road to drive on. It does happen.
