No, I'm not talking about Murdoch's propaganda broadcasts but rather about the latest stories on those evil, mangy, rabid canids waging war on us poor humans.

Here's plucky Tammy, who fought tooth and finger with a fox hell-bent on slaughtering her cats, raiding her fridge and generally creating crazy mayhem in her flat.

"Experts believe the animal had become desperately hungry after wheelie bins were introduced in Miss Page’s street, removing an easy source of food for urban foxes."

Ah OK. It's nothing to do with the chickens she keeps in her garden then?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1346866/Fo...

And in this one, the foxes are now shooting back!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howabou...

(What's the betting the hunter shot himself in the leg but thought the best way out was to blame the fox?)

Anyone would think there isn't any proper news around at the moment.

Brilliant.

And yeah, she takes "fugly" quite literally doesn't she?

Saw a fox in my garden the other night, was actually quite pleased rather than horrified about the vermin crossing my lawn. Probably be different if it tried to eat my face.

I didn't spot that! Hmmmmm... That is one well-travelled fox.

Either that, or it's a scapefox.

i spy an opportunity here, repeal the fox hunting laws only for "urban foxes" and then introduce hunting on bmx's of said fox. Hoorays replaced by chavs on stolen BMXes hunting with staffies and pitbulls, televise it and make some dosh out of the whole spectacle.

I love this quote from the Daily Fail article

‘It doesn’t know what’s on the other side but when it enters a home it can be more traumatising for the fox than the owner.’

Would anyone hesitate to kill the vermin? A nice swift strike with a sharp kitchen knife would do the trick.
