Dunlop SportSmarts seem to getting rave reviews from everyone at the moment, might be worth having a look at those too.

I haven't tried the Pures yet but I have got Dunlop Sport Smarts which are excellent and give very good mileage as well.

i put some pures on the R1 early last year , and the first ride out on them ( with a mate ) i found them ok but nothing startling . as i got more used to having new tyres on the pace crept up and i started getting a few small slides . we stopped for fuel and a natter and i felt the tyres and found them to be quite cool . the ride continued and when back home the tyres were still cool , so i dropped the pressures a few psi front and back . on the next run out the tyres were a lot warmer and i had no slides . they warm up quickly , grip well and have very little wear .
