Very nice. How does it compare to the Suzuki?
never really got on with the gsxr , on the short 18 mile (and vv wet) ride home the first impressions are , less comfortable, similar amount of poke , much nicer turn in , and much much better brakes!!! hoping for a dry day now to shall how it really stacks up...s'funny in a way , i actually originally went to buy a 1000k5 they had in the showroom but it had gone an hour before i got there. on the way in however i'd seen a really clean r1 and it looked stunning , far far better in the flesh than the k5 and i had that instead!
really sad and stupid , but i've owned in excess of 30 bikes, am 40 + , and i couldn't bloody sleep last night i was sooooo excited!!!! even sold my mille yesterday and i didn't care , i just wanted my r1 :-)

it's an r1 , i'm 6' 4" and my m8's a tech for pure triumph and i tried a 675 and thought i looked a little bit silly on it. awesome bike though in every sense!
I am 6'2" and like you feel I look silly on some of the smaller bikes but I have also just gone from a GSXR to this model but not had time or weather to try her out yet (I have the fast red one though )Stone Cold said:

Now, there's cause for an errection. That's the second time this year for me. If there's any kids out there reading this.....aspire to own this bike one day.Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
