What cordless phone - triple handset
Discussion
Hi,
After purchasing a reconditioned Philips set of phones (ansaphone with 3 handsets) and it being - well, st - I wondered whether anyone can point me towards a better brand of phone.
I don't want anything too fancy (i.e. bluetooth, text messaging, colour screens, whacky ringtones). All I'm after is a set that have an ansaphone, good call quality, decent range and will be reliable for at least a few years.
Any ideas? How are Panasonic phones?
Thanks,
Phil.

Our Philips cordless phones lasted around 13months before one of them broke and decided to make a permanent loud screeching noise - they were swiftly binned.
I replaced them with Seimens Gigaset C300 phones after they were recommended by my bro in Germany. He gets over 300m of range with his (can go to friends garden nearby and still able to make/receive calls). They are designed and made in Germany - very good quality - good size colour screen - look good - and they work!

Panasonic, a quick look at base station suggests it's model number is KXT85.
I bought them after trying Motorola, Siemens and BT alternatives which either failed or had crap call quality. They've been perfect so far (had them a little under a year), markedly improved call quality and they don't have impossibly clunky menus etc. Think I paid about 90 quid for a 4 pack.
