PCSO salary

Just out of curious...

I know a guy who is one and has been doing it for 6 years ish and says he's on 24k, which I don't doubt. However he says that pay increases annualy and tops out at 30k....??

Really? I mean surely that's what a time served PC must be looking at, just struggle to believe a CSO could ever be on 30 grand!
