Might be a bit of a waste of thread space ( prior warning ). But over the last few months I have heard of a lot of people in my work, social circle getting speeding tickets for doing 37mph in a 30mph about 12 -15 people in all.
Many have been caught on the same stretch of road or within a few miles of each other so it's quite possible that it was the same camera car or plod hiding behind a tree/lamp post etc.
Is it just a coincidence or is it that 37mph considered the point of no return. As they can't appeal it as the 10% plus 3mph discretion doesn't apply. Most have taken the driver awareness course but a few are considering fighting it all the way (being stubborn or ignorant or both).
Just seems odd.
