Police car with camera gun

Foolishly I may have been a smidgen or a few over the limit on Sunday. I saw a police car over my shoulder on the slip road with his door open.

I'm certain he had a speed gun. Do they have the means to issue tickets from the cars or were they radioing up ahead.

I didn't get pulled I am just wondering whether to get a ticket.

I always wonder why people speak in code when describing speeding or feel the need to use "leptons" or just won't state a speed...

Has anyone EVER been prosecuted for stating that they had been speeding online? I doubt it, especially without a recording or anything.

I got nabbed by one on an empty D/C in Basildon on Sunday doing 65 in what I thought was a 50, I now have a horrible feeling it drops to 40 at exactly the point they had set up.

Good luck Brad. The most annoying thing about it is that I was driving the missus' 1.2 polo. 12 Years driving and riding and I might potentially get a ticket in the slowest transport I have driven

I don't like to admit defeat but I slowed down after being knabbed twice by "hidden" camera operators.

You see a place where it's safe to make good progress. They see a place where it's easy to catch people.

The equipment most used in Essex will take 0.32s and they have video and still cameras within the hand-held lasers there.
I think yours will drop-through first.

Unsure. Looked like trafpol and he had the car door open. I didn't get the best look in as I was past it before I could look too much.
