Ironically i just recieved my first speeding ticket from a speed camera whilst driving through Germany. With German efficiency the ticket took just three week to land on my door mat.
I was around 8mph over the speed limit and the fine for this crime, €20, obviously i will just pay up.
Anone else been naughty and had fines through the post since May??

It seams that bridges have speed limits that drop down to 60mph then go back to 85mph or no limit, suprised there are no cameras on these or police sitting and waiting as very few people slow down, i think i was caught in Frankfurt, i was doing 112 kph in a 100kph zone.

I’m also keen to hear more about this.

It’s also the first time I’ve heard of a UK registered car receiving a speed camera fine at a UK address from an EU country.

I’ve been flashed multiple times over the years in Europe by speed cameras but never heard anything.
Cross border requests for driver details only came in mid May this year.

I paid the fine on Friday, had to go to two Post offices and a bank to find someone who knew how to pay it in. It cost me another £9.50 in fees as well..and another small fee could apply when the bank recieve the payment.
