The other day the next door neighbours grandson turned up and parked behind my misses car.
There was a good 4 foot gap between the vehicles.
When she returned there was a note in the door asking her to ring him.
He told her the towbar on her vehicle had damaged his car.
There is no towbar on the car.
Surprise surprise its a lease car which is going back in a couple of weeks. Also he hadnt notice any damaged until he saw i when he got home. He had also not checked his car for 2 weeks.

He is saying its 150 to have it repaired. The damage is no more than a 50 smart repair.
There is also absolutely no way the damage was caused by her vehicle. The damage was too high up plus there was no marks in the dirt on her car.
As its a lease car i think he is trying to pull a fast one by saying the damage was caused by the misses as he does not want to have to pay any fees.

I havent called my insurance yet.

Any advice apart from sausages in the lawn.

Tempted to get her to send the guy the following.

There is no way my vehicle caused any damage to your vehicle. The minor mark could in no way have been caused by my vehicle. There is no damage to my vehicle and the dirt on the vehicle is not disturbed.
No other correspondence will be entered into this matter

Hi my misses did move her car as i stated and when she returned the neighbour's grandsons car had left.
I dont think she will pay any money as her father has told her not to.
She has already sent him a message to him telling him no and reminding him about fraud which is definite touch of her father speaking to her. She normal takes more notice of him rather than me anyway.

Ive got a packet of sausages lined up just in case.

It also took me a while to see any damage on his car.
