Paid for parking for wrong car

Help....my 1 series is in the garage and went to a usual car park with a courtesy car and stupidly paid for parking on Ringo for the car that’s in the garage. Is it worth appealing the subsequent fine if I can legitimately prove my car was in the garage and couldn’t possibly have been there?

Sadly already have the Parking Charge Notice as was on the windscreen.

Firstly....I was only trying to find out if other people have had the same experience. I have already appealed.

Secondly....I didn’t set my account up just to post about this. I know I haven’t posted before but set the account up as I had an issue with my car which has since been resolved due to reading these forums.

This was a parking charge notice so not council owned. Sounds like there is a chance I might get lucky but not optimistic.....

Had the appeal decision through and have had the payment knocked down to £25 from £60 so worth the effort.
