Weirdo repeatedly driving slowly past my house.

Over the past three weeks or so a car's repeatedly driven past my house between ten and eleven pm at around 5mph glaring into our property, it can happen four times an evening and it's slightly unsettling for my wife. I've passed the registration number onto the police however they aren't really interested.

Apart from following the guy home and hammering frozen sausages into his lawn can anyone offer any advice on how to stop this?

It's not helped by the fact that I work night shifts

We have curtains however we have rarely felt the need to close them, spending most of our time at the rear of the property it seems somewhat a needless exercise, we also have shutter blinds that are semi closed. When I'm on shifts my wife closes the curtains but that's only for seven nights in twenty eight.

My first thoughts were it's probably a delivery driver, it most definitely isn't. I could set my clock by his first pass and he never stops to drop food off. We live on a long straight stretch of road so I can see him speed up and disappear into the distance, only for him to pass again ten minutes later from the same direction.

It's all rather odd and seems far more sinister than a doner kebab.
