As the title says; Do weight restrictions apply to buses and coaches?

Say for example a 7.5 ton restriction, which is not on a bus route - could an out of service vehicle have an exemption to pass through the restriction? A bridge in this case.

The restriction is quite well signposted at the bridge and at the entrance to the road.

Useful - thanks

I can't find the TRO so not able to check the exemptions and there aren't any 'except for access' additions.

Yes, I hope so.

If I could find the TRO then I can look at the detail - RBWM don't appear to have it on their list though.

Finally got the TRO. No, the buses and coaches don't have an exemption on this one.

Interesting, thanks
What’s the difference between a goods vehicle restriction and a weight restriction sign?

Also, does a polo pony truck have to comply? I.e. not strictly a goods vehicle?

Many thanks,

So, as the sign in question depicts a goods vehicle, then buses and coaches are exempt even though they're not mentioned in the TRO.
