Buy parking time after parking

Hi guys,

Looking for a bit of advice here,

Parked in a parking eye run car park using ANPR at approx 12.45,

At 13.45 I realised I forgot to pay, ran back to the car and paid 2 quid for 2 hours and then left after about 10 mins,

So total parking time was about 1.5 hours, paid for 2 hours before leaving, but started payment 1 hour after arrival,

So really, do you pay from point of entry, or for total time? Surely as I have paid for the amount of time that I parked on the day before leaving....the land owner is not out of pocket for me having used their land?

Havnt received a ticket but just tryna work out if I will! Thanks for any help,
