Just a bit of advice, to clarify my ignorance! Through the post this morning came a speeding fine. I was doing 71mph on A303, on a dual carriageway section. I was driving my Mercedes Vito Dualiner - seats in the back, side windows, no window in the rear door. The script states the speed limit of this vehicle is 60mph, as it’s a goods vehicle.
Can anyone just confirm that’s correct. At a toll bridge etc, it’s classed as a car, as has seats in the back.
I know I broke the limit, so not denying it, just didn’t realise the speed limit for this type of vehicle is 60mph.
Cheers

Thanks all. Guilty as charged, then! Very lucky not to have been had before, as I ignorantly set my cruise control at 70(ish) on the local dual carriageway.
£100 fine & what looks like 6 points await me.

You have also been lucky to get away with car rates on toll bridges Most charge van rates where they exist for my transit dual cab,
Yes, using the online payment for the Dartford crossing is same as taking the car over & I travel to Wales every 3 weeks & through the Severn crossing tolls & charged car rates also, though that’s now free for all.
60 mph on dual carriageways for me now then . You learn something every day, though I know I should have been aware of this!

So, can anyone advise me on a Renault Trafic 2700dci 9 seat minibus?

Not a conversation, built by Renault.
From what I gather from the responses here, I would assume a minibus isn’t a goods vehicle, so you could do 70mph on a dual carriageway.
