Reading festival noise
Discussion
It could just be the wind direction making it sound louder this year.
You could complain to the local council, ours opens for noise complaints at weekends but for an annual event like that I wouldn’t hold out much hope.
I’d buy some noise cancelling headphones and listen to your own stuff.

Perhaps you should "Go away" on holiday whilst the noisy festival is on......
And why the fk should I do that when I live 10+ miles away? I never been and issue in past years. Its not like I live in the same town.......ETA

For fks sake, it's on for three days a year. What's wrong with other people enjoying themselfes, you can go and enjoy the other 362 days.
Have you ever thought about how much noise you make that effects other people? Lawn mowers? Kids? Music? Cars? Trains? Airplanes? sporting events? Shopping precincts? All part of lifes rich tapestry that we all have to live with.
OH, and I hope the pub you're going to is in the middle of nowhere or you'll be upsetting the local residents there!
(and yes, I do live within 10 miles of reading festival, and no I wouldn't think of ever going!)
