I just want to make it clear what do red light cameras look like, also are they always infront of the lights or can they be mounted on the actual traffic light pole itself?

Also how accurate is waze with red light/speed cameras, I'm never too sure with waze whenever to trust it or not.

Like this, sometimes painted yellow.

Is that the only type in the UK?

It's quite simple really, just stop at red lights and then you don't have to worry about ever getting caught.

Made a mistake, and went through a late amber which changed red as soon as I crossed the line with my front wherls, I was in a rush so it is what it is

No. They can be very small and higher up. I'll try and dig out the thread.

You do indeed have the 14 day sweat - give it a few more before you can fully relax. (So long as the DVLA records are up to date and the police can find you easily)

However....there is still a half decent chance you are in the clear. I am reasonably sure the offence is not recorded until a second or so after red, meaning you may well have cleared the line by the time the camera activated (although the light itself was on red).

So you may well be fine.
I think I'm in the clear, none of these cameras are on that intersection, it's just the traffic light poles and that's it, only thing I can actually see is them round 360 CCTV cameras that are usually mounted on street lighting poles.

The only reason I made this post is because I wanted to find out if traffic lights themselves (the actual pole with the lights) can have somewhat of a red light camera on it, however thinking about it now it was a bit stupid to think that because that would show no evidence at all as the front of the lights wouldn't be shown.
